The plastic quick connection fittings (QC, quick couplings) are largely used in domestic water purify systems, including UF water purifiers, RO water systems, drinking dispensers, pipeline water machines, etc. There are many brands of quick connection fittings, different brand has its own patented structure, our quick fitting’s unique bite type (snap-in type) with dual fixed O-rings structure makes the connection easier and quicker, just need to cut the hose vertically and smoothly, and then insert into the quick fit ( make sure the hose pass through the dual o-rings), and then fasten with the blue semicircular clip.
The below are 9 tips of proper use the quick connection fittings in installing the water purify systems or during the water hose connection, paying attention to these matters will effectively improve the QC fittings’ service life.
1. Do not use to connect other fluid besides suitable water/beverage.
2. Do not over screw the thread to the root, why may damage the screw.
3. Do not over-stress the quick connection fittings. Do not over strike, bend, shock, stretch the quick fittings
4. Do not use the quick fits in high temperature liquid or ambient condition.
5. Do not use our quick fittings connect with other suppliers’ fittings directly.
6. Do not connect the QC fittings in harsh environment of high dust or metal powder
7. Do not disassemble the quick fitting.
8. Do not use pipe glue or other liquid thread sealer, use only Teflon tapes to seal threaded connections.
9.Do not press the collects toward the main body unless attempting to separate tube from the quick connection fittings in a unpressurized line. The use of blue clip is advised to restrict inadvertent disassembly of connections.
